Suzette began her photography career long before she ever held
a camera. Her unique style of photography is a reflection of her intensive
studies in fine art, her business knowledge and her passion for people.
In 1994, after 20 years of retail ownership and management, Suzette
left retail to finish her fine art degree in Wyoming. This included
taking photography courses, which at the time seemed unnecessary.
She had never viewed photography as fine art.
I remember holding a camera for the first time, wondering
how anyone could express passion and emotion through something so mechanical.
It only took a moment of shooting our first assignment in the open air of
the Rockies to realize that photography was an art. The inspiration that
emerged from within, as I viewed the world through the lens of a camera
fulfilled a craving for creativity that I had longed for since I left college. |
